General Ledger & Fixed Assets Accountant

About the role

Join ZF’s finance team in Monterrey as a General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant. You will support the month‑end close, maintain accurate ledger records, and ensure proper depreciation and capitalisation of assets for a global mobility technology leader.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate and post journal entries, including inter‑company transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations for GL and Fixed Assets, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage fixed‑asset depreciation, capitalisation, and CIP reconciliation.
• Support month‑end closing, trial balance submission, and preparation of reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Handle accounts payable vendor invoices in multiple currencies and perform AP/AR balance reconciliations.
• Run reports on past‑due customers and vendors, and maintain internal control documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2‑4 years of experience in General Ledger and Fixed Assets accounting.
• 80‑90% proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High ethical standards and knowledge of MX and US GAAP.
