General Manager – Luxury Hospitality & Wellness

About the role

The General Manager will lead SHA Mexico, a flagship luxury wellness resort, delivering world‑class hospitality, preventive medicine, and holistic wellness experiences to an international, high‑profile clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational areas, ensuring the highest standards of luxury service, wellness programming, and guest experience.
• Provide visible, hands‑on leadership to drive consistency, operational excellence, and a strong cultural engagement across departments.
• Build, develop, and retain a high‑performing leadership team capable of delivering strategic and operational results.
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, revenue management, cost control, and KPI monitoring.
• Act as the public face of the property, engaging with VIP guests, stakeholders, and media.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and compliance with legal, safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Protect assets, plan capital expenditures, and safeguard long‑term property value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field; advanced studies or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of luxury hospitality experience, including 3‑5 years in a General Manager or Director of Operations role.
• Proven expertise across Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Commercial functions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages an asset.
• Strong strategic vision, “Think Global, Act Local” mindset, and ability to manage multicultural, high‑profile stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems and operational software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
