General Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The General Manager will lead Pendry Mexico City, a new luxury hotel with 114 guestrooms, suites and private residences. Reporting to corporate leadership, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving financial performance and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations, including guest and associate engagement, human resources, finance, food & beverage, sales & marketing, and asset management.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and create personalized, culturally‑rich guest experiences.
• Develop and communicate vision, strategy and leadership to inspire associates.
• Build and maintain relationships with ownership, asset managers, local community boards and corporate teams.
• Design, manage and monitor the annual budget, forecasts and actuals, engaging the team in achieving financial targets.
• Lead leadership training, mentoring and performance development programs.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in luxury hotel operations and financial management.
• Proven ability to create and implement operational critical paths that drive revenue and service excellence.
• Strong commitment to a values‑driven service culture.
• Must be able to work onsite in Mexico City.
