About the role

The Civil/Structural Manager will support the Senior Project Manager (CMR) in delivering construction projects on time, within scope and to the required quality standards. Based in Obregón, Sonora, the role combines technical expertise with leadership to oversee civil and structural aspects of the project.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Sr. Project Manager in supervising project progress, reporting trends, and ensuring compliance with civil and structural standards.
• Establish and apply project management standards and metrics across the project.
• Identify and resolve execution issues with the General Contractor, monitoring schedule, budget, and cash‑flow baselines.
• Manage issue, risk, and action registers, escalating critical items and supporting the development of mitigation plans.
• Oversee field implementation of approved actions and maintain local project documentation repository.
• Lead by example, promoting the company’s philosophy and fostering teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including 10‑13 years in management roles.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑driven, collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering results.
