About the role

The Special Projects Manager will drive business excellence and support the execution of strategic initiatives across UCB's Mexican affiliate. Acting as the single point of contact between the affiliate, regional, and global teams, the role ensures alignment, governance, and operational efficiency for cross‑functional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of critical cross‑functional projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Maintain program governance, documentation, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate with Commercial, Medical, Omnichannel, I2I, Talent, Medical Operations, and Market Access to align priorities and resolve issues.
• Identify and implement operational improvement opportunities, oversee audit remediation, and manage procurement and supplier activities when required.
• Develop KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and support capability‑building agendas across functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional projects in a regulated or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence regional and global partners.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration across diverse teams.
