GL Accountant

About the role

As a GL Accountant you will analyze financial information and prepare reports that reflect the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax obligations. You will work closely with the General Accounting team to ensure accurate month‑end close and compliance with US‑GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in accounting and month‑end closing processes under US‑GAAP.
• Perform general ledger account analysis and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare SOX controls and support audit activities.
• Generate daily and monthly financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Maintain continuous communication with vendors and customers regarding fixed‑asset issues.
• Assist in resolving issues that could impact timely month‑end closing.
• Support other accounting tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical, research and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
