Global Controller – Finance & Accounting

About the role

The Global Controller oversees cash flow, financial reporting, and accounting operations across multiple locations worldwide. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role ensures accurate month‑end close, inventory valuation, and compliance with banking covenants.

Key responsibilities

• Interface all accounting modules with the General Ledger and post journal entries.
• Advance accounting periods, post recurring entries, and ensure trial balance, profit & loss, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly finance reports, borrowing base reports, and annual budgets.
• Approve standard cost work‑ups, perform margin analysis, and verify physical and off‑site inventory.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable vouchers, cash receipts, payroll, and employee benefits.
• Oversee accounting staff, annual insurance renewal, and ensure daily budget spreadsheets are up‑to‑date.
• Support the VP of Sales, CEO, COO, and Plant Manager with financial copies and analyses.

Required profile

• 4‑year degree in Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong written and oral English communication.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and analytical abilities.
