Global Supply Planner

About the role

The Global Supply Planner will coordinate and optimize international supplier product flows for Motorola Solutions' Land Mobile Radio and Video Security divisions. This role bridges demand forecasts with production realities to ensure essential communications and security technologies are available worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for EMS partners, managing production priorities and line capacities for LMR and Video solutions.
• Act as liaison between Sales, Business Operations, and global Distribution Centers to translate demand plans into factory build plans.
• Monitor and balance raw material supply, optimizing inventory levels and supporting seamless factory operations.
• Utilize ERP/MRP systems to analyze data, forecast material needs, track supplier performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Balance cost, quality, and delivery by fostering strong supplier relationships and proactively resolving bottlenecks.
• Facilitate engineering changes and new project introductions as a monitor, coordinating with dedicated engineering and program management teams.
