Ground Station Manager

About the role

The Ground Station Manager leads the Transportation Operations team, overseeing the development and execution of transport and logistics programmes. This role ensures day‑to‑day operational efficiency while aligning activities with CEVA Logistics’ broader strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse team of operators, administrators, and supervisors, handling recruitment, training, performance evaluation and staff engagement.
• Design, implement and optimise transport and logistics programmes to meet operational targets efficiently.
• Provide strategic advice to senior management on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to resolve operational and technical challenges and maintain high service levels.
• Facilitate meetings and prepare communications that update stakeholders on priorities, performance metrics and business insights.
• Develop and oversee project and programme objectives, managing budgets, schedules, materials and staffing for successful execution.
• Interpret applicable laws, standards and regulations in an operational context and recommend necessary policy or procedural changes.
• Administer budgetary allocations and monitor financial performance of the station.
