Head of Content

About the role

This is a senior leadership position based in Mexico, reporting to a global, remote‑first organization. The Head of Content will shape and execute a data‑driven content strategy that fuels acquisition, engagement and brand consistency across web, SEO, social, email and video channels.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimize content performance throughout the customer journey to drive measurable business outcomes.
• Define and implement a content strategy focused on organic traffic growth, sign‑ups and engagement metrics.
• Lead all SEO initiatives, including keyword rankings, search visibility, organic traffic targets and domain authority.
• Build a scalable production framework ensuring a consistent publishing cadence across all channels.
• Establish editorial standards for quality, accuracy, compliance and brand consistency.
• Mentor and develop a team of content creators and editors, setting clear performance objectives.
• Monitor channel‑specific metrics (email, social, video) and continuously optimize.
• Create reporting dashboards to communicate impact and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with growth, product and compliance teams to align content with acquisition goals and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial leadership or production, with at least 3 years in a Head/Director role.
• Proven track record in fintech, crypto, digital banking or similarly regulated, fast‑growing industries.
• Demonstrated success improving acquisition metrics through content and SEO.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision‑making.
