Head of New Business – Mexico

About the role

We are seeking a “hunter” to build and own the new‑business engine for Ayvens, a global leader in fleet management operating in Mexico. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will design and execute the full strategy for leasing, full‑service leasing and fleet management, targeting large corporate clients across FMCG, pharma, construction, logistics and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement Ayvens Mexico’s new‑business strategy in line with regional and corporate objectives.
• Identify, prospect and engage corporate and enterprise clients in key industries.
• Lead the complete sales cycle – from lead generation and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation and contract signing.
• Develop tailored fleet‑management solutions and ensure competitive tender responses through close collaboration with Operations, Finance, Legal, Pricing and Fleet teams.
• Maintain the sales pipeline in a CRM system, provide forecasts and performance reports to the Commercial Director.
• Represent Ayvens at industry events and networking forums to strengthen market positioning.
• Support local pricing strategy and ensure compliance with regulations and corporate policies.
• Lead, coach and develop the new‑business team to achieve high‑performance results.

Required profile

• Hunter mentality with a strong results‑driven and entrepreneurial attitude.
• Proven experience managing complex B2B sales processes, RFPs and corporate tenders.
• Deep understanding of the Mexican corporate market and key industry dynamics.
• Fluent Spanish and business‑level English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, operative leasing or mobility solutions.
