HR Coordinator

About the role

The HR Coordinator will support AIG's Mexico operations by managing onboarding, talent advisory, benefits, and employee experience initiatives. This role ensures compliance with local labor regulations and drives a culture of inclusion and wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pre‑onboarding, complete administrative tasks and introduce new hires to company culture.
• Lead onboarding, Buddy programs and continuously improve employee experience processes.
• Act as a trusted talent advisor to leaders, supporting organizational change, growth and transformation.
• Design and implement organizational designs to enhance role clarity and capability building.
• Provide coaching to develop leadership capabilities and sustain organizational health.
• Perform talent and organization diagnostics, using data analytics to deliver actionable recommendations.
• Manage talent initiatives such as succession planning, internal mobility, development plans and performance review cycles.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws (NOM035, NOM030) and company policies.
• Oversee benefits programs, negotiate with brokers, and administer health, pension and retirement plans.
• Drive employee engagement, wellness, and culture initiatives, including health campaigns and volunteer activities.
• Track HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, headcount) and provide insights for strategic planning.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Mexican labor regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in onboarding, employee engagement and talent management within a large organization.
• Ability to use data analytics to inform HR decisions and improve employee experience.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills to support managers and leaders.
