About the role
Flowserve is seeking an HR Generalist to support a people‑first culture within one of its business units. The role combines direct employee assistance with strategic HR consultation, operating in a hybrid model of three days on‑site and two days remote.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries via calls, chats, and tickets, providing clear guidance on HR policies and self‑service tools.
- Execute HR processes consistently using case management systems, chat platforms, and telephony.
- Research solutions to HR questions, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Educate associates and managers on navigating the HR portal and completing self‑service transactions.
- Maintain adherence to Flowserve’s safety, integrity, and code of conduct standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in HR, customer service, or HR service delivery.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with high emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Excellent probing abilities to uncover underlying employee needs.

- Proficiency with HR case‑management tools, chat systems, and telephony platforms.
