Incoming Inspection Technician

About the role

Join Hitachi Energy’s Power Transformers Division in Reynosa as an Incoming Inspection Technician. You will play a critical role in ensuring that all materials and components meet strict quality standards before they enter production, supporting the company’s mission of delivering sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, identify, and inspect incoming materials to verify compliance with quality requirements.
• Support PPAP activities and conduct annual supplier evaluations.
• Monitor processes, procedures, and quality standards for materials and components.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Analyze inspection data to enable timely and accurate decision‑making.
• Use measurement and inspection equipment to verify specifications and tolerances.
• Maintain quality records and documentation according to established procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing and incoming quality inspection.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong data analysis, numerical calculation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
