Information Systems Engineer 4 – Linux Endpoint Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team as an Information Systems Engineer 4. You will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and optimizing our Linux‑based infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Linux OS (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS) on physical and virtual servers.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and implement proactive measures for uptime.
• Develop Bash and Python scripts to automate routine tasks.
• Manage core services such as DNS, DHCP, SSH, Apache and Nginx.
• Integrate Linux servers with Active Directory, Kerberos and LDAP for centralized authentication.
• Oversee patch management, security audits and log monitoring.
• Maintain backups, disaster‑recovery procedures and data integrity.
• Track asset inventory and ensure software license compliance.
• Support virtualization platforms, VDI deployments and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and storage technologies (SAN, NAS, LVM).
• Familiarity with ITIL change‑management processes.
