Interim Financial Transformation Project Leader – Mexico & USA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Transformation Project Leader to drive the outsourcing of accounting functions for a European client’s subsidiaries in Mexico and the United States. The role will be based in Mexico City and will run for 3‑6 months, focusing on ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the local execution of the accounting outsourcing project across Mexico and the USA.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to align on project objectives.
• Drive change‑management activities and support impacted teams throughout the transition.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions.
• Maintain continuity of finance operations during the transformation phase.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge, including IFRS.
• Proven experience leading or supporting finance transformation initiatives.
• Solid project‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience with outsourced finance or BPO models is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
