Interior Designer

About the role

As an Interior Designer at Steelcase, you will translate client needs into functional, aesthetically‑pleasing workplace environments. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative setting, delivering high‑quality design solutions that support both people and the planet.

Key responsibilities

• Develop interior layout solutions for workplace environments, aligning with client needs and project requirements.
• Create accurate design deliverables and documentation while maintaining high standards of quality and detail.
• Apply design insights to select appropriate products, materials, and applications based on functionality, aesthetics, and budget.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including designers, sales partners, and internal stakeholders—to support project execution.
• Manage project tasks and timelines to ensure timely delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
• Support client interactions, contributing to a seamless and positive design experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in interior design or a related design role.
• Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to produce accurate, high‑quality design work with strong attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and deliver work in a fast‑paced environment.
