Internal Communications Lead

About the role

IFF is seeking a Global Internal Communications Lead for its Taste division. This senior position will shape the way the division communicates with employees worldwide, supporting culture, engagement, and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the global internal communications strategy and editorial calendar, aligning messaging with business priorities and culture initiatives.
• Develop and deliver divisional and leadership communications, including emails, intranet content, newsletters, and corporate updates.
• Manage high‑impact communications such as organizational updates, crisis communications, and transformation messaging.
• Drive employee engagement by creating compelling content in written, video, and digital formats.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape narratives and thought leadership, including external‑facing professional social media content.
• Plan and execute global Town Halls, coordinating content and cross‑functional teams.
• Analyze communication effectiveness using quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback, adjusting strategy as needed.
• Develop new initiatives to enhance organizational culture, leadership visibility, and employee connection.
• Manage and develop one direct report, ensuring strong team performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in communications roles with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience designing and executing internal and executive communications strategies in complex, global organizations.
• Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed execution and manage multiple priorities.
• Expertise in stakeholder management and influencing senior leadership.
