IT HelpDesk Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an IT HelpDesk Engineer to join the Corporate IT department of Netcracker, a leading telecom software provider. The role involves providing on‑site and remote technical support for PCs, peripherals, and software, ensuring minimal disruption for users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver proactive maintenance and rapid response to IT incidents.
• Provide technical assistance for hardware, operating system, application, and networking issues.
• Diagnose and resolve problems through user consultation and computer diagnostics.
• Repair, upgrade, and configure desktop computers.
• Format and reinstall operating systems, primarily Windows 11.
• Install and uninstall software applications.
• Support remote users via RDP or telephone.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment, ensuring stock availability and timely refresh of end‑of‑life assets.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in an IT HelpDesk or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Active Directory, and Office suite.
• Basic networking understanding.
• Analytical problem‑solving mindset and target‑oriented approach.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop IT skills.
• Excellent organization, open‑mindedness, and teamwork.
• Advanced proficiency in English; advanced/native Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an IT‑related field (optional certifications: ITIL, CompTIA).
