IT Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are seeking an IT Manufacturing Technician to deliver Level 2 onsite support for manufacturing and R&D environments, ensuring systems are secure, efficient and aligned with Industry 4.0 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for manufacturing and R&D systems (desktops, OS, antivirus, applications).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining proper documentation.
• Support integration of manufacturing systems in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Advanced Operations and R&D teams.
• Contribute to knowledge‑base articles and promote shift‑left initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, including patching, antivirus and firewall management.
• Participate in global IT projects and support enterprise system adoption.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Support shop‑floor systems and machine‑level integrations.
• Contribute to IT operational processes such as incident, problem, change and asset management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or R&D IT environments is an advantage.
• ITIL Foundation certification (required).
• Industry 4.0 or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven ability to influence and work across teams.
