IT Project Manager

About the role

Flex is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join its Guadalajara North team. Reporting to the IT Senior Project Manager, you will lead complex technology initiatives from concept through production, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct end‑to‑end project delivery, setting deadlines and allocating resources.
• Develop risk‑mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Conduct feasibility, impact, and needs assessments.
• Monitor progress, timelines, and budgets to guarantee cost‑effective delivery.
• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance to project teams.
• Maintain comprehensive project and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, functional managers, and senior leadership.
• Prepare purchase orders following established processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and complex implementations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience influencing medium‑term functional direction and operational success.

Required skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• Prince2 or equivalent certification (desired).
