IT Support Engineer

About the role

Sequoia’s IT department is looking for an IT Support Engineer to deliver timely, high‑quality technical support to team members in Mexico City. You will manage the ticket queue, perform IT operations and handle systems administration while contributing to projects that deploy new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1‑2 support for onsite and remote users, troubleshooting laptops, printers, smartphones, tablets and other IT hardware.
• Manage the organization‑wide IT asset procurement, distribution, logistics and inventory.
• Perform software installation, upgrades and maintenance for Windows and macOS environments.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 (account creation, removal, policy enforcement).
• Execute new‑hire deployments, laptop imaging, and configuration of network/email accounts.
• Configure and troubleshoot SaaS telephony and mobile devices, including platforms such as Okta and Zoom.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology‑related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT support role.
• On‑site presence five days a week.
• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Fluent English proficiency.
