IT Support Specialist

About the role

Trivelta is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for employee technology issues across a fast‑growing, globally distributed team. The role can be structured as a contract, contract‑to‑hire, or full‑time position, depending on the candidate’s fit.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on technical support for hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues.
• Provision and de‑provision user accounts and devices during onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Manage device enrollment, patching, and compliance using the Kandji MDM platform.
• Administer access and permissions in Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian tools, 1Password, and Okta.
• Troubleshoot VPN connectivity with NordLayer and support conference‑room AV setups.
• Document recurring issues, maintain an internal knowledge base, and create SOPs.
• Escalate complex problems to the IT Manager or external vendors.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, peripherals, and licenses.
• Assist with basic security hygiene such as password resets, MFA enrollment, and phishing awareness.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support.
• Strong communication skills, especially translating technical concepts for non‑technical staff.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• Quick learner able to adopt new tools and systems with minimal onboarding.
