JS Developer – React.js & Next.js (Remote, Mexico)

About the role

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer specialized in React.js and Next.js to join Capgemini Engineering’s remote team in Mexico. You will work on production‑grade applications for a leading US client in the retail and restaurant sector, delivering modern, high‑performance web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Implement server‑side rendering, server components, and data‑fetching patterns in Next.js.
• Integrate front‑end code with backend APIs, headless CMS platforms, and authentication services.
• Optimize performance, caching, SEO, and accessibility to meet enterprise standards.
• Use version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud deployment tools to ensure reliable releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven hands‑on experience building production applications with React.js and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS and modern front‑end engineering practices.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced consulting environment and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
