Junior Controller – Latin America

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Controller to support the Regional Controller in strengthening financial governance across Latin America. The role partners with finance leaders to ensure accurate reporting, robust internal controls, and smooth integration of new entities.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial consolidation for LATAM.
• Prepare and analyse regional financial reports, management reporting packages and variance analyses.
• Drive accounting standardisation, chart‑of‑accounts alignment and reporting structures.
• Support internal‑control programmes, compliance initiatives and remediation efforts.
• Partner with local finance teams to improve close processes and reporting accuracy.
• Review balance‑sheet accounts and reconciliation processes for integrity.
• Participate in regional and statutory audits, ensuring audit readiness.
• Assist in M&A integration, including reporting structures and accounting policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in controllership, accounting, financial reporting, audit or regional finance.
• Understanding of US GAAP, financial consolidation and internal control.
• Experience in multinational, multi‑country environments.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• English proficiency required.
