Junior Manager, Risk Management

About the role

Samsung Electronics is seeking a Junior Manager for Risk Management to join its Mexico City team. The role focuses on monitoring operational risks, conducting audits, and supporting the implementation of internal controls across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor system data for irregularities or abnormal signs.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to minimize operational risks.
• Prepare and deliver training on risk‑related policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional headquarters and audit teams to ensure alignment.
• Review payments, verify sales deductions and marketing expenses, and identify duplicate payments.
• Develop, execute, and present audit reports in line with regulatory and internal standards.
• Apply audit procedures, perform analyses, investigations, and propose process improvements.
• Maintain systematic checks on operations to improve efficiency.
• Conduct Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of experience in risk management.
• Experience with vendor due diligence.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and date functions.
