Junior P1 Project Manager

About the role

Valeo is looking for a Junior P1 Project Manager to support the operational and functional management of P0 or simple P1 projects. You will work on OEM/OES component projects with mature technology, ensuring they meet profitability, quality, timing and production preparation targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned P0/P1 projects, securing resources and controlling their use.
• Monitor project KPIs (profitability, quality, schedule) and take corrective actions.
• Validate team activities, propose timing scenarios, and ensure milestone achievement.
• Prepare budgets, define project scope, and drive decision‑making processes.
• Apply Design‑to‑Cost methodology and submit IAR reports.
• Escalate issues appropriately and maintain communication with customers on project progress.
• Promote Valeo values, culture, standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and CLEAN standards.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a strong interest in automotive project management.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Good analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.
