Lead Fullstack Developer

About the role

EPAM is looking for a Lead Fullstack Developer to design, build, and stabilize enterprise‑grade applications that combine modern web technologies with AI capabilities. You will work with multinational teams, guide technical decisions, and ensure delivery of secure, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack applications using Angular for the frontend and Python for AI‑powered backend services.
• Participate in technical and functional design sessions following Architecture team guidelines.
• Enforce development, security, and configuration‑management standards in collaboration with Architecture and Information Security.
• Lead the team in troubleshooting incidents and resolving complex problems.
• Define and communicate development standards, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Document applications and share knowledge to foster continuous learning.
• Contribute to roadmap planning aligned with business goals.
• Oversee release processes, obtain approvals, and monitor warranty periods.
• Provide operational support by clarifying application behavior and rules.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new methodologies, technologies, and AI innovations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 1 year of experience leading or managing development teams.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 or higher).
• Experience in the financial or insurance sector is a plus.
