Lead Inbound Operations – Mexico

About the role

As the Lead – Inbound Operations for Mexico, you will design and manage the flow of products from local ports to regional fulfillment hubs, ensuring supply‑chain agility across Latin America. Reporting to the Head of Operations, LATAM, you will act as the primary liaison between global logistics, customs teams, and local partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound product movement from ports to distribution centers, working closely with customs brokers and 3PL providers.
• Execute regional inbound transportation strategies and manage day‑to‑day operations.
• Monitor pipelines, identify delays, and communicate risks and mitigation plans.
• Provide local market and regulatory insights to global teams.
• Track service levels, KPIs, and partner performance, escalating bottlenecks as needed.
• Own weekly inbound forecasting and translate volume projections for 3PL capacity planning.
• Support onboarding of new logistics service providers and ensure alignment with customs processes.
• Assist Customs & Trade in obtaining and maintaining trade certifications such as AEO/OEA.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in international logistics, inbound transportation, or customs coordination within a fast‑paced retail, apparel, or consumer‑goods environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and resolve high‑impact logistical challenges autonomously.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with forecasting and KPI monitoring.
