Lead Mobile Developer (Android & iOS) – React Native

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Mobile Developer to own the development of Lumysi’s companion app for a screen‑less health wearable. The app is the sole user interface, handling Bluetooth communication, data synchronization and AI‑driven insights for a global market.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the Android and iOS companion app using React Native.
• Implement BLE pairing, background data sync, reconnection logic and battery‑optimisation for both phone and wearable.
• Translate raw biometric measurements into calibrated health metrics within the app.
• Ensure privacy, security and regulatory compliance of health data.
• Maintain performance, stability and 24/7 synchronization reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on firmware integration and calibration.
• As the team expands, help recruit, mentor and lead additional mobile developers.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of hands‑on experience delivering production mobile applications used by real users.
• Strong computer‑science foundation in data structures, algorithms and concurrency.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and evaluate solutions.
• Professional maturity, self‑direction and a passion for building high‑quality user experiences.
