Legal Contract Specialist

About the role

Sterlington PLLC is seeking a Legal Contract Specialist to support a high‑volume pipeline of commercial agreements for a global client base. This independent‑contractor position is fully remote and offers direct ownership of client relationships and negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, master services agreements, vendor contracts, and technology transactions with rapid turnaround.
• Apply internal legal playbooks and coordinate cross‑border commercial considerations.
• Drive AI‑powered process automation across legal and operational functions, identifying inefficiencies and deploying scalable solutions.
• Identify and mitigate confidentiality and commercial risks, escalating non‑standard terms as needed.
• Collaborate with internal deal teams to ensure alignment on negotiation strategy and timely contract delivery.
• Manage a demanding, high‑volume workflow while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong interest in AI, innovation, and the future of legal services.
• Background in outsourcing and commercial contracting.
• LL.M. from a U.S. institution or eligibility for U.S. bar admission preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English for daily client interaction.
