Logistics Officer – Distribution & Transport Coordination

About the role

The Logistics Officer will coordinate the efficient distribution of products from OSW warehouses to customers across Mexico. This role ensures that domestic transport is planned, booked, and executed on time while maintaining high customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily deliveries from the warehouse to customers throughout Mexico.
• Book transport with approved freight companies, obtain and compare quotations, and plan shipments based on size, weight, destination and customer requirements.
• Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery, resolve delays, damages and other issues promptly.
• Maintain proof of delivery documentation and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Work closely with Warehouse and Sales teams to guarantee timely order dispatch and communicate shipment updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with freight providers, negotiate rates, and monitor carrier performance.
• Maintain accurate freight bookings, verify invoices, update ERP systems, and prepare logistics reports.
• Monitor and report logistics KPIs such as On‑Time Delivery, freight costs and delivery performance.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating domestic transport and distribution operations.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with proactive communication skills.
• Ability to control freight costs while meeting service level agreements.
• Proven capability to resolve delivery and transport issues promptly and professionally.
• Familiarity with maintaining accurate logistics records and operational documentation.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with company policies and safety requirements.
