Logistics Packaging Engineer

About the role

Bosch is seeking a Logistics Packaging Engineer to define and manage packaging concepts for new product launches across North America. The role bridges customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure packaging meets standards, cost targets and logistical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Define packaging concepts for new launches based on customer standards, logistics agreements and production volumes.
• Coordinate packaging design, ensuring compliance with customer and supplier guidelines.
• Lead cost planning, budget management and total‑cost‑of‑ownership analysis for packaging projects.
• Maintain end‑to‑end visibility of packaging loops, monitor performance indicators and support risk mitigation.
• Drive supplier transition toward returnable packaging solutions and evaluate density, material reduction and standardisation opportunities.
• Develop and control standardized repacking instructions, documentation and support Kaizen initiatives in warehouses and production lines.
• Conduct packaging validation tests (drop, vibration, stacking, transit simulation) and manage corrective actions for quality claims.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in packaging engineering, logistics or related fields.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills with experience in cost planning and TCO evaluation.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
