Logistics Specialist – Ciudad del Carmen

About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage the movement of domestic and international goods for its operations in Ciudad del Carmen, Mexico. The role supports efficient, compliant shipping of products while collaborating with service providers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate pre‑shipping instructions and arrange shipments across ocean, air, and land modes, including hazardous cargo.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, logs, and files in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Use SAP and other logistics systems to record movements, track performance metrics, and support cost‑containment initiatives.
• Pack, label, and measure cargo to ensure correct weight and dimensions.
• Assist Finance & Accounting with validation of rates and invoice charges.
• Analyze service provider performance and contribute to short‑term planning of shipments.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
• 1–2 years of logistics experience, preferably with international freight.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• IATA/IMDG certification may be required depending on scope.

• SAP logistics modules.
