Logistics Specialist

About the role
The Logistics Specialist manages pickup activities and related processes from pre‑pickup through the first hour after departure. This position ensures timely carrier coordination, accurate shipment data entry, and swift escalation of any deviations.
Key responsibilities
- Confirm carrier ETA at least 2 hours before pickup.
- Perform arrival check calls and report loading delays.
- Update trailer numbers and delivery notes in the system.
- Stop departure from supplier when required.
- Communicate TONU (Truck Ordered Not Used) situations via escalation channels.
- Maintain real‑time shipment status within Optimiz.
- Identify and escalate deviations to Operations and IT.
Required profile
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
- Experience with ProTrans systems and related platforms.
