Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician will ensure maximum availability, reliability and operational efficiency of the cable extrusion lines and associated equipment. This role focuses on proactive preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance to meet production targets and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics on electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems used in cable extrusion.
• Read and interpret complex electrical, mechanical and schematic drawings, PLC programs, HMI interfaces and industrial sensors.
• Safely operate specialized instruments such as multimeters, calibrators, alignment tools, vernier calipers and micrometers.
• Plan and execute detailed preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
• Manage work orders through the CMMS and control inventory of critical spare parts and consumables.
• Apply lockout‑tagout (LOTO) procedures and obtain required permits for hot work, height work, confined spaces, etc.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis after significant failures, document lessons learned and update work instructions.
• Carry out periodic visual inspections to identify potential issues before they impact production.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in cable extrusion or similar high‑precision manufacturing.
• Proven ability to maintain equipment under optimal conditions while complying with safety and quality standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
