Manager, Project Management

About the role

The Project Management team at Whirlpool drives large‑scale, complex product development initiatives from concept to launch. As a Project Leadership Office (PLO) Project Manager, you will lead cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Production Development Projects (PDP) and Advanced Development Projects (ADP) using the Whirlpool Product Development (WPD 2.0) System.
• Manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
• Develop, assess, and report cross‑functional stakeholder requirements, master schedules, capital spending, and risk assessments.
• Ensure APQP processes are embedded, track KPIs, and provide regular status reports to leadership.
• Guide and coach core project teams, enforce WPD process adherence, and support planning and architecture teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in product design, development, manufacturing, or procurement.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional teams in an industrial environment.
• PMI or PMP certification preferred.
