Manager, Raw Materials

About the role

Victoria’s Secret & Co is seeking a seasoned Manager, Raw Materials to lead sourcing, development, and quality assurance of fabrics and finishes for its lingerie and apparel lines. You will work cross‑functionally to ensure material choices meet cost, performance, and brand standards while driving innovation across the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute raw material sourcing strategy, including supplier identification, evaluation, and allocation.
• Manage end‑to‑end material development from concept through adoption, validating specifications, pricing, and lead times.
• Lead material re‑engineering and duplication projects to improve cost efficiency and supply continuity.
• Oversee fabric quality assurance, conduct risk assessments, and monitor high‑risk materials throughout in‑season development.
• Validate new fabric processes through testing, on‑site supplier visits, and DGT specimen reviews.
• Direct color development activities, including lab dip, strike‑off, and bulk production approvals for solid and printed materials.
• Coordinate on‑site color approvals to ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Define development routes for special techniques such as washing, graphics, and all‑over prints, managing trials, costing, and scalability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in raw material manufacturing within the lingerie or apparel industry.
• Proven technical expertise in raw material processes with a “Right First Time” mindset.
