Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer acts as a bridge between management and the shop floor, providing technical support for a product line and driving continuous improvement across production, quality, safety and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze production trends with management to develop solutions, programs and procedures.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate paint‑booth bottlenecks, balance processes, reduce setups, increase yield and optimise space.
• Collaborate with Safety and Health teams to ensure ergonomic and safe tooling and fixtures.
• Generate cost‑reduction ideas through process redesign, tooling acquisition and documentation improvements.
• Oversee product transitions, including buy‑vs‑make decisions and job moves from other sites.
• Document products using Bills of Materials, routers, value‑stream maps, flow charts, drawings, videos or photos.
• Manage predictive, preventative and reactive maintenance programmes and set up high‑OCE equipment.
• Supervise capital equipment and small tooling, program, calibrate and adjust machines as needed.
• Utilise CAD software (Auto‑CAD, PRO‑E) and maintain compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least four years of high‑level experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to work in a large, global corporate environment.
• Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, speak).
• Advanced PowerPoint skills and proficiency with MS Office.
