Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will drive the implementation of manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to maximize throughput for Dauch's driveline and metal‑forming operations. You will ensure production‑part acceptance, manufacturing readiness, and support the adoption of new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement manufacturing processes, control charting of critical features, and monitor machine performance.
• Manage new process roll‑outs, select equipment for purchase, and develop time estimates.
• Identify optimal tooling for machining and resolve design or manufacturability issues.
• Develop equipment purchase proposals, evaluate vendors, and project investment returns.
• Oversee equipment installations, design equipment modifications, and train operators.
• Maintain policies, procedures, equipment records, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing engineering within an automotive or metal‑forming environment.
• Proven ability to evaluate equipment, conduct cost analysis, and support automation initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills for monitoring process capabilities and reliability.
