Manufacturing Maintenance Test Engineer

About the role

Aptiv is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Test Engineer to support the development and validation of test equipment for automotive electronics. You will work on cutting‑edge applications, applying Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and document technical requirements for hardware, software, and measurement systems.
• Lead equipment specification, sourcing, and qualification processes.
• Install, debug, and release test equipment before start‑of‑production.
• Apply Six Sigma tools (CPK, GR&R, multi‑vari charts) to validate equipment and improve FTQ and OEE.
• Perform end‑of‑line (EOL) tester internal calibration and technical analysis of machine failures.
• Support the Maintenance Department to ensure optimal machine condition.
• Execute CAPEX projects according to forecast and asset identification.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance KPIs related to quality and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of test engineering experience in the automotive electronics industry.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
