Materials Planner – Supply Chain

About the role

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Materials Planner to ensure accurate material planning across its supply network in San Jose Iturbide, Mexico. You will maintain resilience, flexibility, and end‑to‑end synchronization while supporting production and service goals.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong fundamentals in E2E planning, data analytics, and compliance with production planning standards.
• Analyze supply chain capacity versus demand, identify risks, and communicate findings.
• Parametrize master data for new material codes and perform quarterly maintenance to enable automated planning.
• Develop and execute inventory strategies for raw and packaging materials, managing supplier relationships to secure supply and minimize excess.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, Packaging, and Tech Transfer on priorities, gaps, and new product introductions.
• Generate the annual physical inventory calendar and support inventory audits at external plants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, customer service, or logistics.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
