Mechanical Engineer – High Density & Liquid Cooling for Data Centers

About the role

The Mechanical Design Engineer will support the development of high‑density and liquid‑cooled products for data centers, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless manufacturing and field performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support to manufacturing operations, coordinating with on‑site personnel and the Center of Excellence.
• Create and modify mechanical parts, assemblies, and drawings using Creo and/or Solid Edge.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials and configurator logic to match customer options.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Service, and Quality teams to meet product requirements.
• Assist prototype builds, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate feedback from field trials.
• Suggest product improvements and address escalated field problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or product development.
• 5+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience.
• Fluent English (read, write, speak).
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts and safety.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably Creo 10.0+ (Solid Edge experience acceptable).
• Experience with sheet‑metal, piping, and assembly design.
• Bill of Materials creation and management.
• Familiarity with change‑order management and data‑entry systems such as Oracle or Agile.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and ability to work in global cross‑functional teams.
