Medical Project Coordinator

About the role

The Medical Project Coordinator will support drug safety operations in clinical trials, ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety. You will work closely with clinical and data‑management teams to review safety data, identify trends, and facilitate timely issue resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and review safety data using line listings, dashboards and visualization tools.
• Analyze safety trends, coding consistency and flag potential issues for escalation.
• Prepare safety summaries for review meetings and contribute to aggregate reports.
• Assist in creating and reviewing safety and medical management plans.
• Monitor project implementation, metrics, and budget considerations.
• Escalate delays or risks to stakeholders and present findings at meetings.
• Serve as primary contact for clinical/data‑management project teams and support training/mentoring activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Physician Assistant, or a licensed RN.
• At least 2 years of clinical safety experience (clinical research monitoring, pharmacovigilance, or both).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and attention‑to‑detail skills.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
• Drug development and safety reporting expertise.
• Safety data trending and coding (e.g., MedDRA).
• Working knowledge of biostatistics, data management and clinical procedures.
• Proficiency with visualization tools and dashboards.
