Medical Science Liaison (MSL)

About the role

Our pharmaceutical company is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the Medical Affairs team in Mexico City. The role is strategic, focusing on building scientific relationships with key opinion leaders, investigators, and healthcare professionals to support our Rare Diseases portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Engage scientifically with KOLs and investigators to discuss clinical data and therapeutic insights.
• Provide medical education and evidence‑based support to healthcare professionals.
• Represent the company at scientific congresses, medical events, and advisory boards.
• Support medical affairs and research initiatives, including data generation and insight collection.
• Generate and communicate medical insights to internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and corporate standards.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) with a valid medical degree and license (mandatory).
• Previous experience as an MSL or in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of rare diseases or related therapeutic areas.
• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory, assessed during recruitment).
• Excellent scientific communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
