Molding Design Engineer

About the role

AUMOVIO is seeking a Molding Design Engineer to lead the design, manufacture and operation of injection molds for automotive applications. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure ergonomic, high‑performance molds that meet production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the complete lifecycle of injection molds, from concept to production.
• Monitor and develop supplier capabilities to guarantee reliable mold performance.
• Standardize, industrialize, qualify and correct dimensional issues of molding tools.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision and repeatability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Hands‑on experience with engineering resins such as glass‑fiber reinforced PA6.6, PA6 12, PPS and TPU.
• Proven knowledge of plastic injection molding processes and tool development.
