Molding Production Planner

About the role

The Molding Production Planner will schedule and allocate production orders based on customer demand while driving operational efficiency. You will work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment at LEGO’s Mexico plant, ensuring that production plans are accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with inventory and capacity constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Convert planned orders into production orders and manage inventory coverage.
• Post and maintain the production plan in the ERP/MRP system.
• Monitor material requirement changes and adjust production orders accordingly.
• Optimize utilization of machines and moulds by following Tactical and MPS processes.
• Analyze future demand and act proactively to keep the plan balanced.

Required profile

• Experience in production scheduling for a manufacturing plant with capacity limits.
• Background in inventory analysis, supply chain, production control, or logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and teamwork orientation.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of modern ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle).
• Advanced MS Excel, including macros.
• Experience with MS Access.
