Music Teacher – Primary & Middle School

About the role

San Roberto International School, part of Nord Anglia Education, is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join its bilingual Pre‑K to Grade 9 community in Monterrey. The role involves delivering high‑quality music instruction, coordinating school‑wide musical activities, and supporting the artistic development of students aged 3‑15.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and teach music classes across the curriculum, evaluating student progress each unit.
• Organise and promote musical events, festivals, and the school symphonic band as an extracurricular activity.
• Design, produce, and maintain didactic materials and musical instrument inventories, requesting maintenance or new resources as needed.
• Provide musical support for assemblies, parent presentations, and other school events.
• Participate in weekly coordination meetings, professional‑development sessions, and child‑protection training.

Required profile

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
• Willingness to undertake required child‑protection training.
• Strong organisational skills to manage inventories, event planning, and curriculum updates.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff in both English and Spanish.
