New Graduate Project Engineer – Automation & SIM Card Production

About the role

Thales is seeking a recent graduate to join its Delivery HUB team in Cuernavaca. The New Graduate Project Engineer will support the automation of industrial and production processes used to customize SIM cards, working closely with software engineers and production staff.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and apply professional concepts related to software and SIM‑card development.
• Assist in designing, coding, and testing internal modules for SIM‑card customization.
• Develop and maintain automation tools for industrialization and production workflows.
• Prepare production packages and support on‑site implementation.
• Collaborate with development teams, technical support, and consultants across sites.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (2023‑2024) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Up to one year of experience with programming languages such as Python, C or C++.
• Familiarity with databases (SQLite, Oracle, MariaDB, MySQL).
• Intermediate‑advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, analytical mindset and customer‑oriented attitude.
