Occupational Physician – Industrial Health

About the role

As an Occupational Physician at ABB, you will provide medical care to employees in the NEMA Motors division, handling emergencies, workplace injuries, and routine health consultations. You will play a key part in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medical assistance for illnesses, incidents, and work‑related accidents.
• Maintain accurate daily records of medical care, productivity statistics and internal/external medical leaves.
• Respond to emergencies, administer first aid, and coordinate medical transfers when required.
• Conduct safety inspections, identify unsafe conditions and implement preventive measures.
• Train staff on health and safety practices, ergonomics and occupational health programs.
• Monitor and manage inventory of medical equipment, medications and supplies.
• Support health campaigns, drills, corporate meetings and related initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (public or private university).
• Minimum 2 years experience as an occupational physician in an industrial setting.
• Familiarity with Mexican Official Norms (STPS, IMSS, SSA, LFT) and civil protection protocols.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational abilities.
